About Us
We invite you to a closer look at our personal life and family. In doing so, we trust that you will see the hand of God in our lives. Know our hearts, know our calling to the people of the Philippines. Then, as you learn about us and how we live, learn about our work.
We have heard the Lord's call to the Philippines and fully yielded our lives to the Lord Jesus Christ to proclaim the Gospel to these wonderful people. Thank you for your love, your prayers and your support in helping us reach the Philippines for Christ.
Ferdinand: "I was born in the Philippines and grew up in a Christian home there. I consider myself extremely blessed, you see, more than 85% of all Filipinos are devout Roman Catholic. Even my family was Catholic before. However, God sent a special messenger. Back during WWII, an American GI was in the Philippines serving his country, but not only his country, but he wanted to serve His Lord. He began witnessing to Filipino natives , and my grandpa was in the right place at the right time. He received Christ right then and there and later led his whole family to the Lord. I also accepted Christ and was baptized at the age of thirteen. One American missionary made a big difference in my life, and I want to do the same for other Filipino people."
Christie: "I, too, was blessed to be born and raised in a Godly home. I grew up in the small town of Hinton, West Virginia. It was there on Tenth Avenue, that I accepted Christ in my home. After graduating from Pipestem Christian Academy in 1995, I had the opportunity to go on a summer missions trip to the Philippines, through our church. I had no idea that that trip would change my life forever. There, in the middle of all the creepy crawlies of the jungle, the Lord got a hold of my heart. It was also there that I met the love of my life, Ferd. I ended up going back four more times, before we moved here to work permanently in 2003. The Philippines is now my home and I look forward to spending my life here to reach the Filipino people for Christ."
Sean: In 2001, God blessed us with our son, Sean. We moved to the Philippines when Sean was only two years old, so this is the only home he knows. Sean loves the Philippines and enjoys living right on the South China Sea. For those who have already met him, you know that he loves choo-choo trains. Sean has had many problems here in the Philippines with sickness and injury, but God has been good to protect and deliver him. Thank you so much for your prayers.
